I AM PREGNANT!

I am due April 6th! This pregnancy sure has taken me for a ride. I haven't been feeling too great, so I can't wait to get over the first trimester. Just a question for you mom's who have more than one kid. Is it normal to feel guilty and sad for your first born? I have been feeling really bad bringing a second child into the picture because I am afraid I wont pay attention to Jaxon anymore when the baby comes. All day everyday my attention is on Jaxon and I have such an amazing bond with him. Please, I need some reassurance that it wont really be like that when this baby comes. Will this bond me and Jaxon have still remain the same? Will I still pay as much attention to him then as I do now?

Well i have two kids and i kind of felt that way too! But once Houston came, Braiden was such a great helper and just loved him to death and still does, now they are the best of friends! And Houston is only 5 months old! I give my attention equally to my boys without a problem. I think you will be fine! Jaxon will love this baby it might even make you crazy! Braiden has done that to me a little too! haha! Anyway! Congratulations! I am so bummed we aren't on the same schedule of having kids! It would be so much fun to be pregnant together one of these times! I hope you start feeling better and we are so excited for you! Congrats!

I know the feeling!! Yes, your bond will still be the same. I don't know it's like something clicks with the first born once the second one arrives. Kai and NOah play in their room all day and freak out if I take them apart now. They are best buds and it's so much fun having two. I will admit the first few months are hard but you will be great. Of course all your time and focus won't be on Jaxon anymore but he will understand and be a great helper. It's in their nature. I think they knew before they came down that they would be older brothers or sisters so I think it's just in older siblings instincts. Don't worry. It will all be fine :) P.S.... I get my phone back tomorrow!! And Im coming down the 15th :)

Hurray!! Congratulations! I'm excited for you! Yeah I felt the same way too, but it seriously all works out in the end. Stella absolutely adores her baby brother and she is already overprotective of him haha. You'll do awesome!

Be prepared to feel even worse when the baby comes. I felt the same way when I got pregnant with our second and then when he was born I felt like CRAP times a million. I will tell you though it was A TON easier than I thought it would be. You may find that Jaxon will test the limits and push your buttons though. Totally normal, his world just got rocked! Be consistent as you can with him and just try to stay involved with him and involve him in what you are doing too. It will make more sense soon! Good luck girl. You will do great.

Good job guys! Sorry I don't have any advise because I am barren. But I will feel sad and jealous if we see you any less. Let's hang out more!

Candice, Congratulations!!!! It will be so great for the babies to be close together and they can play and grow up with a buddy. I felt guilty for the first few weeks I found I was preg, but then it went away. People do it all the time, so I know it all works out.

Heard baby #2 is a boy! Jaxon will have a brother, fun.
It seems there is a pattern in your family, Candice...you know what this means don't you? You'll get your girl on the 3rd try! ;o)

Candice you know I am excited you are expecting. A boy doesn't bother me a bit. But about feeling guilty, heck yes!!! I went through that with Khyl and was so worried. I wanted to have my children 5 years apart so I could give all my time to each one until they went to school. Just not realistic. IT will all be great and Jaxon will love his baby brother.
